Step 1: Make First Arc
Set the compass to the first measurement you took from the house. Put the point where you measured from on the house, and draw an arc.
Step 2: Draw Second Arc
Reset the compass to the second measurement. Put the point where you measured from on the house, and draw a second arc to cross the first.
Step 3: Connect the Dots
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for all of your boundary triangulation measurements. Connect the center points of each of the crosses to plot your boundary.
Step 4: Add the Details
Using the same technique outlined in Steps 1 to 3, plot the position of buildings, trees, plants, and other major features to create your scale plan.
