Tropaeolum Majus Nasturtiums has Edible Blooms
Nasturtium are bright and happy little flowers in a kaleidoscope of colors. Both leaves and flowers are edible, adding color and flavor to salads.

Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus) is known for its fast growth and cheery flowers. This edible annual thrives in full sun and, surprisingly, flowers best in poor soil; fertile soil will produce heavy foliage with few flowers.  Varieties include short, bushy plants and climbing vines, with red, maroon, orange, yellow, cream or bicolor flowers. Tropaeolum majus ‘Variegata’ has variegated foliage. Nasturtium, a cool-season plant, blooms until hot weather arrives.
